Some 12 years ago, I lived in Chennai, in the south of India, to study the strategic behavior of Indian shrimp exporters. Since that time, I’ve stayed closely connected with the Indian industry, traveled to the country dozens of times, and made many good friends. Over the years, the passion in the industry and the hundreds of thousands of livelihoods it supports have truly inspired me.
